Exhibiting Artists

Parmlee Parmlee Gomez
Parmlee Gomez, exhibiting paintings:

Creating Art and teaching techniques in Ventura County since 1981, Parmlee has won many awards. Currently featured in The World Business Academy, "Year in Perspective", along side articles written by Deepak Chopra and others. Parmlee's dioramic drawings published this year symbolizes her love for drawing. A multi-media artist, she is influenced by the traditional customs and folklore style of the Spanish culture. The festive colors throughout the assemblages and collages show enlightenment of childhood fellowship and a rich reminder of childhood treasures.

Active in Ventura's downtown Cultural District ArtWalks, "Artist-in-the-classroom" program, Carnegie Art Museum, Barranca Vista Arts Center and Ventura College, she is open to curriculum based projects in teaching drawing, watercolor and collage to children and adults. Parmlee Gomez has been involved with The Children's Celebration of the Arts outreach program for eleven years. Children explore the Mexican culture and tradition by creating El Ojo De Dios.
